WARNING! SNAKE EATING A PINKIE MOUSE

Some pictures I took of Mr Cuddles eating a mouse.

The pinkies are killed humanely. Mr cuddles is only fed on dead prey - no live feeding for him. He is also handled regularly, so he is pretty docile. :)

  1. Wow, He's so cute! Where did you get him? And do they have more?! Haha.
Is there somewhere close that I can get a license for these if needed?

  2. Getting the licence is the easy bit :) it is just a standard, class A reptile licence. You have Geckos so you already have one. All you have to do is add your new snake friend to the list when you update. If you want to read the rules, they are here http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/wildlifelicences/ReptileKeepersLicence.htm

Getting the snake is the hard part. if you look on reptile keeper's forums, they frequent them. Snakes can be shipped, so you can get one from just about anywhere, as long as the postage wont take more than a week (snakes need to eat too!)

Mr Cuddles was a gift from my sister. She got him in Queensland. He is a Coastal Carpet Python. I don't know exactly where she got him from, but I am sure that this breed is common enough, that you could find one easily enough.
